Metamorphosis Series 02 NightCrawler By 1000Tentacles

Our artist spotlight artists, Leong Wan Kok and pH Khor AKA 1000Tentacles the Malaysia award-winning duo are back. Last year we gave you all a glimpse of 1000Tentacles beautiful work and many of you guys missed out on Metamorphosis Series 01-The Missing Link at STGCC in 2015. Now revamped and made their debut at WonderFest (Summer) Japan. 1000Tentacles still driving us crazy how awesome their concepts are. Not forgetting their distinctive overall look and finish.

Introduction of NightCrawler:

It is about a physical transformation process of a little girl to a giant cat. It all started when the little girl found a stray kitty at her door step. The kitty had an anomaly-it has 2 tails, wagging and looking at the girl with its big eyes, as if hoping the girl would take her in. Pet adoption was off limit in the family and the girl knew too well. Her parents dismissed any pet in the house. The girl made her decision and sneaked the kitty back to her room, hide it under the bed.

At night time, the girl woke up from the sleep due to a sudden pain on her skull. To her horror, the kitty was biting her head and in a surge of anger, she kicked her out of the house and swear never wanted to see the kitty again.

After the bite, strange thing happened to her physical appearance: her body started to grow fur, eyesight improved, able to have night vision even under pitch black condition. Her body started to morph!

The next morning, parents found the girl gone missing, with the windows wide opened. Since then, there is a rumor spread across the town of a strange NightCrawler the cat roaming the town. Witnesses all mentioned seeing shadow of a cat, as big as a lion, crawling from roof top to roof top.
