Thanks to our buddy, Edward AKA The XLB Chronicles we know that The Modern are hosting a KAWS Toys Sale. The Modern, if you recall, is the location of the current KAWS Exhibition Where the End Starts. At the end of the exhibition, The Modern will be selling the items that they currently on display.
As you can see from the picture taken at The Modern, the official Start Date of the KAWS Toys Sale was 30th November, and it runs to the day after the Where the End Starts exhibitions ends – 23rd January. It looks like you actually need to physically be in The Modern Store to fill in the entry forms – but perhaps you can get a friend to visit the store and fill out your details. They do mention that Shipping & Insurance fees will be charged seperately – there is no mention of NOT shipping elsewhere in the world. Items that we believe to be available for this sale lottery include: KAWS BFF, KAWS Passing Through, KAWS Companion, KAWS Resting Place, Joe KAWS Snoopy, KAWS Boba Fett, KAWS Sorayama, KAWS Astroboy, KAWS Dissected, with potentially more to be included too. No details on the actual prices, but the price list will be sent to all entries of the available items.
