Forget Daenerys Targaryen Dragons! This is what you’ve been waiting for, Mira-arts Forest Dragon has finally launched the Kickstarter. After endless months of preparation, the project is NOW in full swing and you can be apart of the journey whilst ending up with a dope reward after the Kickstarter campaign. Day one and Mira-arts has already reached its target goal! Don’t let that stop you backing this, expect stretched goals and be one of the first to own a Forest Dragon.
We are Singapore based illustrator Sandara Tang and sculptor Paul Tan. This Forest Dragon bust statuette is the beginning of a series of dragons that we will create. By contributing to this campaign you will help us realize our purpose.
We started with a few rough concepts, and eventually the Forest Dragon was chosen for its uniqueness. Thereafter a digital sculpt was made, 3d printed then cast and molded.
Prior to Kickstarter we produced 100 copies of the Forest Dragon resin kit with our own funds, which was eventually sold out via our Etsy store. We followed up with a small release of 20 copies of the pre-painted Forest Dragon, which sold out in 2 days.
