Remember back in September when there were 50 days to go until DesignerCon? Oh, those were the days. We brought you news that Johnny Cupcakes was going to be the official merch sponsor for DCon (read HERE). Now with less than a week to go before the doors to DesignerCon 2017, we are on the lookout for my info on this collaboration. We don’t have much, but what we do have is enough to raise the excitement levels a notch….
Rick Garcia, the artist behind Save the Panduhs and Cake Dealer, dropped the above image on his Insta last night. So, what can we decipher from this image? Well, first off the bat – FIVE EXCLUSIVE DESIGNS! We have already spoken to our Bank Manager and let them know to open the floodgates next weekend. Secondly, we’re looking at the mix of Johnny & the DCon mascot. Would look dope as a sticker, right? Also, we imagine that this image will be used on the back of the tees that will be released at DCon. Guessing, anyways. Hopefully, over the course of the next five days, we’ll start to see the exclusive tees that Johnny will be releasing at DesignerCon.
